With excellent road and rail links to both Leeds and Bradford, Skipton is easily accessible. The Chief Finance Officer will develop the Council’s financial strategy and act as adviser to officers and elected members on financial matters, implementing high quality customer-
focused services that adopt recognised best practice, whilst managing the Financial Services and Revenues and Benefits teams.
We are looking for exceptional candidates who have the ability to think and act strategically at all levels and be creative and seek innovative solutions to problems.
Experience of effectively managing resources, delivering sustainable high quality services and large scale projects on time and on budget is essential.
The successful candidate will work as part of the Corporate Leadership Team and assist the Chief Executive in dealing with Members, Officers and Partners.
