    The Operations Manager will lead forward strategic change & business initiatives which focus on delivering a better billing & payment experience.

    The successful candidate will manage and oversee the operational delivery of payments services and cash collections of over £1bn per annum, continuous improvement which deliver operational efficiencies and increased customer satisfaction, in line with customer and business expectations.

    Stakeholder management is an important aspect of this role which will involve managing and meeting expectations. With your excellent drive for results ypu will ensure that production targets are constantly met.

    You will manage a team of Payment or Operational Support Managers, with different skills and expertise, who will be responsible for key elements across production, development, quality assurance, process improvement, compliance and regulations.

    You will be responsible for the end to end payment experience, from production through to the end user across all products offered by TalkTalk.

    Ensuring business policy & compliance obligations are met with an appropriate level of rigor and review on data; Payments PCI DSS, PA DSS, Direct Debit Scheme Rules, PSD-

  • 2 & GDPR is a vital responsibility for you in this role. You will be responsible for ensuring any change across BSS &
  • OSS which impact on payment collection, refund and rebates are tested and assured to prevent leakage and continues to meet regulatory obligations You will provide assurance &
  • control over customer payments, change and continuous improvement, ensuring robust, common processes and controls are in place across a multi-

    system environment. As a team lead you’ll get the chance to provide training to team and managers to ensure that skills are constantly evolving in line with business changes.

    What do I need in order to be successful?

    Must Have

  • In-depth knowledge of SingleView Billing
  • In-depth knowledge of Telco Payments or Accounts Receivables
  • Management of team of executives
  • Extensive knowledge on enabling payment service, cash collection & bank reconciliation
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Head of Departments, Senior Directors on a regular basis
  • Ability to express ideas and requirements in a clear and confident manner
  • Ability to engage and influence key stakeholders across the change program
  • Proven self-starter, works on own initiative
  • Team Player
  • Keen attention to detail
  • A good knowledge of PCI Compliance, APACS guidelines and Direct Debit Scheme Rules
  • Be great to also have

  • Previous experience in Customer / Billing Migrations within the telco industry
  • Previous Audit and Reconciliation experience in Billing operations and / or Billing Migrations
  • Previous experience of delivering change in a telco billing environment
  • Knowledge of billing systems including SingleView & Adept
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
