Here at Trainline, Affiliates plays an important role within the Acquisition team but there is significant opportunity for growth.
We’re looking for a highly motivated and commercially-minded Affiliates expert who can lead and scale the channel.As our Affiliate Manager you will be tasked with devising and delivering the channel’s strategy and identifying new tactics to test and new partners to work with to ensure the channel scales efficiently and quickly.
You will be able to strengthen relationships with our best-performing partners, both in the UK and internationally, as well as build good relationships and communicate effectively with peers and internal stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities will include : -Creating and delivering the Affiliate strategy-Ensuring the channel remains within budget and hits performance targets-Management of the Affiliate agency and future potential to manage a small in-house team-Working with Finance to set commission rates by market and customer segment-Building strong relationships with key affiliates both existing and new and negotiating rates and packages with them-Regular reporting of performance using Partnerize, Tableau and Google Analytics-Testing new tactics to acquire new customers or drive app installs-Ensuring transactions are being tracked and payments are being made accurately-Working alongside other channels to identify areas for collaboration-Keeping up-to-date with changes to the landscape (e.
g. tech, legislation) that will impact performance or present opportunities-Improving understanding of Affiliates within the business and being the go-to subject matter expert for key stakeholdersRequirements-A real subject matter expert with comprehensive knowledge of Affiliates-Experience managing global Affiliate programmes (either agency or in-house)-Experience using Partnerize or similar platforms-Strong communication and negotiation skills-Experience managing an agency or in-house team-Data-driven and highly competent with data analysis-Experience with analytics suites, e.
g. Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics-Minimum 2 : 1 degree (STEM subject preferred)-Preferred : Experience with - or good understanding of other digital marketing channels, e.
