Salary Up to £49,500pa plus Bonus and Comprehensive Benefits

Location - Flexible Location with some travel to Crawley, Winchester

Role Profile

You’ll be joining a passionate, professional and highly skilled team of architects and engineers who specialise in building and integrating custom software solutions at enterprise scale.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide application architecture and solution design leadership for Cloud based application developments.
  • Engage in architectural discussions with senior technology executives to support decision making processes; able to discuss costs, risks, benefits, opportunities, and trade-offs associated with architectural options
  • Provide technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and skills and providing mentoring support to others.
  • Engage with key stakeholders to define requirements and ensure solutions are designed and planned to meet or exceed expectations.
  • Plan, design and estimate time and cost of proposed solutions.
  • Provide assurance that Cloud solutions meet the security, compliance and audit frameworks of the organisation.
  • Produce and present documented technical solutions for internal and external use
  • Complete the design review process to identify risks and issues and appropriate mitigation and controls
  • Develop and apply applications and software standards and procedures, share best practice and establish reusable design and architectural patterns
  • Must Haves

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional)
  • Experience in the architecture, design, build and deployment of complex, cutting edge cloud native applications and services
  • Expert knowledge of AWS core services such as IAM, EC2, KMS
  • Experience of DevOps / DevSecOps best practice and hands on experience to go with it
  • Might Haves

  • Experience with agile software development lifecycle
  • Experience using infrastructure as Code deployments and automation
  • Proficient in cloud cost saving and cloud security
  • Experience working in a scrum team
