Duties will include

As the Head of Commercial Finance, you will be able to act as a business partner for the for many stakeholders within the business.

Part of the role includes attending commercial and client / prospect meetings when required and the day to day management of the commercial finance team.

Your main areas of specialism will include;

Managing and developing the commercial outputs required for bid opportunities.

A key contributor to bid / no-bid decision-making process

Acting as the main point of contact within the commercial finance

Set, communicate and deliver the strategy for the commercial finance team

Lead complex multi-service (Integrated solutions) commercial activity

Providing effective financial information to the operations of the business to enable visibility of performance and assist with strategies around efficiencies and enhancing profitability

Compliance with Group Financial Policy and procedure and establishment of additional policy and procedure as required.

You will need to ensure full and complete controls are in place on all business costing documents as well as control and management of the processes in place

The successful candidate

Proven ability to shape and delivering strategy

Experience in managing a finance team, with the ability to demonstrate strong personal integrity, confidence and discretion

Strong communication skills and ability to manage expectations across a range of individuals throughout the business

Ability to meet tight deadlines as well as being customer-focused and proactive

Able to deal with a fast-paced continuously evolving role as well as having an open and honest approach

Determined and focused on achievement

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Proven experience with internal customer-facing commercial discussions

Flexible with the willingness to travel for business cases

Background & Experience looking for :

ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with post qualification and industry experience

Facilities Management sector experience is essential

Experience of dealing with large, complex, multi-service customer requirements
