Are you patient-centred and self-motivated? Are you an experienced nurse looking for a new and exciting challenge? Why not consider joining the Primary Care Research Team in Norfolk and Waveney to deliver research projects for the Clinical Research Network Eastern Division 5.
The role is interesting, variable and totally different from many other Research Nurse roles working with General Practices.
You must, therefore, be willing and able to travel between sites and further afield as necessary.
You will take a proactive approach to supporting clinical research studies including, but not exclusively, gaining consent, recruiting patients and collecting samples alongside clinical duties whilst providing the highest quality patient care.
You will be instrumental in implementing study objectives and will provide dedicated support to ensure that studies are delivered to time and target.
You will need to support the management of suitable research studies and identify and recruit participants within the relevant organisations and so effective communication and team working skills are essential.
You will be involved in ensuring that research undertaken safeguards the well-being of patients and is undertaken within Good Clinical Practice Guidelines.
If you are a level 1 Registered Nurse with a positive attitude to ensuring research participants receive the best possible care, we'd love to hear from you.
Comprehensive induction, orientation and training will be provided for successful candidates. We will also ensure that you have tailored, individual personal development plans with support for further training.
