7th January 2021 TITLE : Personal Assistant / Support Worker ACCOUNTABLE TO : Director of Operations. REPORT TO : Team Manager / Leader.

FUNCTION : To provide the full range of day to day support and care for individuals during the entire span of duty, enabling maximum opportunity for independence and development.

Ensuring that individuals are valued as full citizens with rights and responsibilities and are consulted about their needs and be involved in plans that are being made to meet those needs, regardless of how complex their needs may be.

Support the managers of the service in working with Health and Social Services Departments, developing effective links with local agencies including other providers and voluntary sector organisations to ensure an integrated approach to service delivery, and the redesign of services as a consequence of the Government Legislation.

Personal Assistants should respect the possessions and homes of the individuals we support; your workplace’ is their home.

    30am 5.00pm) followed by 4 further days training which are held on fixed days within the first month of employment. Please note the induction will take place at Marle House, Chadderton, Oldham, OL9 9XA.
