Senior Support Analyst, EMEA

Our client, a large local Pharmaceutical Company are looking to recruit an experienced

individual to provide technical leadership high quality technical support service for the EMEA region, ensuring that user requirements are met within business Service Level Agreements

Main duties / responsibilities :

  • Working closely with the Technical Support Manager; design technical solutions for the EMEA ICT Environment that will enhance the ICT services provided to the business.
  • Ensure qualification / validation procedures are followed and monthly reports are completed
  • Proactively review and develop regional ICT systems including Server, Microsoft Active Directory, E-mail Messaging Systems, Backup Systems, IT Disaster Recovery Environment, Software Deployment, Enterprise Storage, Databases and Microsoft Exchange.
  • Provide guidance, direction and point of escalation to other members of the technical team.
  • Provide technical guidance to the ICT Operations team.
  • Provide customer focused ICT support to the region, ensuring the delivery of high quality ICT operational services
  • Ensure that ICT incidents, problems, service and change requests are completed within business agreed Service Level Management Frameworks.
  • Prioritise incidents based on their business impact.
  • Follow escalation procedures to expedite incident resolution.
  • Proactive monitoring, maintenance and administration of regional ICT systems including Server, Microsoft Active Directory, Backup Systems, IT Disaster Recovery Environment, Software Deployment, Enterprise Storage, Microsoft SQL Databases and E-Mail messaging.
  • Use Problem Management tools and techniques to identify the root cause of problems and select appropriate means of resolution.
  • Work with the Helpdesk to ensure that incident and problem tickets are prioritised based on their business impact.
  • Experience & Skills required :

  • Designing flexible and cost efficient IT solutions for business requirements.
  • Designing virtual server and desktop environments.
  • Dealing with service providers.
  • Active Directory design and administration.
  • Exchange and Office 365 administration
  • Enterprise Storage technology experience
  • Administering and configuring Microsoft SCCM
  • Scripting and automation.
  • Up to date Microsoft Certifications in Windows Sever, Active Directory or Office 365.
  • VMware Vsphere VCP
  • NetApp NCDA or NCSE
