Quality and Commercial Engineer.
Responsible for providing effective oversight, management support for flask quality, commercial and contract management strategies within the Spent Fuel team.
Covers the management and oversight of long-term contracts with suppliers and the associated mainstream payments and configuration and quality of flasking process in a regulatory context.
Accountable to the Spent Fuel Services Manager regarding
The provision of contract support for spent fuel contracts by providing guidance and support.
The Configuration and Quality standards oversight and support for flasking.
The successful candidate will have :
Degree level in relevant Engineering, Science or Maths Discipline

The starting salary for this appointment will be dependent on your existing salary, competence, experience and qualifications.

Whether you are experienced or are fresh out of education, you will have a civil / structural engineering background and with training will be able to act as a system manager for the Station’s civil assets.
As a minimum, you will have a relevant HNC (or equivalent). Candidates with a relevant degree and previous experience in a Civil Engineering environment that already hold or are working towards Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer Status will have an advantage.
The company will provide mentoring and support for you to achieve chartership.
