This is a great opportunity within our Housing Management business, in the Asylum Accommodation and Support Contract
As part of a Repairs and Maintenance team, as a handy person your tasks will include a wide spectrum of duties including pest control, cleaning, waste collection and small maintenance work but whilst always delivering the best in class customer service and satisfying all safety, quality and cost control standards.
What are we looking for?
The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role before and confident to be able to carry out minor repairs and handy person work i.
e. fit curtains, blinds, door handles, painting, leaking waste pipes, replace light bulbs, check smoke alarms and agree to training where required in pest control, cleaning and waste collection.
IT use of tablet for recording work carried out and taking photographs.
The ability to communicate on a one-to-one basis and produce information in a written form, including completion of all necessary work documentation.
The ability to work with the minimum of supervision as part of a team

This role is a Full Time role of 40 hours per week. Hours of work would be across a 7 day shift pattern covering 8am to 8pm Mon - Fri & 8am - 4.30pm Sat & Sun.
