Summary

The Promise will make sure Scotland listens to children and adults with lived experience of Scotland’s system of care, families and the paid and unpaid workforce and deliver the changes needed.

This role is responsible for the operational working of the financial and administrative processes of The Promise and will be the primary point of contact for the team for administrative support.

Working within the Governance and Strategy Unit, the role will be support the set-up of the work of The Promise, supporting the Senior Operations Manager to ensure there is effective set up of financial systems and processes.

The team will be incubated in Scottish Government for up to 9 months while work takes place to explore options of being housed externally, therefore the current roles are short term fixed-term appointments until 31st March 2021.
