The role is aimed at creating and maintaining the data pipeline for all Pricing and Underwriting data requirements for modelling, reporting, geospatial using advanced database management principles and new and emerging technologies We are looking for several Data Engineers to join us across Direct Line Group.

Reporting into Richard Secker, Data and MI manager you are part of Gourab Mukherjee's wider Pricing Transformation department.
What you’ll be doing : Contributing to data architecture for all commercial analytical applications interpretation, designing and building Incorporate our data into existing and new pipelines by bringing data from any source / platform and associated tools that can be used for enriching P&U Modelling and Reporting Manage data processes and data processing requirements for all key commercial BAU and Pricing processes including but not limited to rate carried, pricing packs, scored loss ratio, model refreshes etc.
Assist with the development of Alteryx based processes to support the Data & MI Manager and Head of Pricing & Underwriting Development to deliver modelling benefits to Commercial Lines Be an active leader and encourage the usage of the Alteryx, Tableau Online and other cloud options for scalable and robust solutions.
