Your role : You will take responsibility for the management of assigned agency accounts and management of your assigned radio station.
This will include chasing and securing payment within agreed terms of business with both customers and the sales execs, receiving incoming emails and telephone calls from customers, sales teams and agencies as well as providing regular reports to meet set targets, KPI’s and deadlines.
Day to day you will :
Provide the banking team with account numbers for daily BACS payments received by set deadlines.
Surface, investigate, and raise assigned customer account queries via manual query doc and chase sales for response within agreed SLA timescales.
Maintain accurate customer records, monitoring and chasing resolved queries with customers.
Raise journal amendments.
Schedule and attend regular ledger reviews and monthly review of outstanding direct customer accounts, providing reasons for any outstanding invoices.
Action monthly statement downloads.
Provide Monthly Cash Flow forecast for assigned ledgers.
Raise and process assigned ledger Refund requests.
Monitor sales orders, approve orders to set deadlines and liaise with sales for any rejected orders.
Download Outstanding Invoice Reports of direct customers & agencies monthly.
Perform account reconciliations for large agency accounts where required.
Review unallocated cash across assigned accounts, contact customers to obtain remittance or advice in order to allocate payment.
Raising EPD credits upon approval from business partners.
Ad-hoc duties including team support and report requirements as required.
What we’re looking for from you :
A Credit Control clerk with an excellent understanding of Credit Control practices and procedures who is looking for a challenging and fast paced role.
Excellent IT skills including Excel, Word and ideally experience using Google Workspace / G Suite (Gmail and docs).
A working knowledge of SAP would also be advantageous.
Strong attention to detail with strong analytical and data management skills.
An excellent team player capable of flexibility and working with ambiguity.
Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating the ability to work under your own initiative.
Efficient and hardworking with ability to multitask
