We are currently recruiting for a Production Shift Manager on our night shift to work in our March site.

Role Requirements & Responsibilities
Management of production including standard practices and procedures, staffing and meeting profit targets.
Functional responsibility for all of the process, staffing, implementation of the production plan and satisfying customer requirements within set targets.
Ensure that the production area is prepared for the commencement of each shift to minimise any disruption to the production run and to maximise efficiency.
Ensuring daily checks are completed as specified to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
Ensure team have the correct ability to set up and run area / lines and all procedures are checked prior to production.
Supervision of Operatives
Ensure that all employees allocated to shift are in attendance from the beginning and investigate all nonexplained absences.
Ensure motivation throughout the shift to improve efficiency and to minimise costs and ensure compliance with all hygiene systems and procedures
Monitor and control quality and ensure corrective action is implemented as required to ensure product quality, safety and legality.
Complete all paperwork required in an accurate and timely manner.
Maintain a system for the cleaning of all production areas after usage to ensure a clean, healthy and safe working environment.
Ensure that the clean as you go rules are adhered to. Ensure staff follow hygiene rules at all times
KPI’s and Stock Holding
Ensure the communication of performance against KPI’s to all production personnel and implement corrective action as required to redress any failings.
Yield, Packaging, ingredients and labour control
Ensure the storage of raw material and finished product in a safe manner to minimise the risk of hazard and to maximise cold storage space.
Use all material in rotation to minimise the potential for wastage.
