To meet the growing demand for our technology and services, we are currently growing our Business Development Team.

We have opportunities to get involved in either our Capital Market Consultancy (CMC) sales or our KX product suite. Applicants involved in our CMC sales will receive the opportunity to research our consultancy business with some competitor analysis, whilst providing some insight on the main offerings in this area.

Within KX you would be responsible for sourcing new KX sales opportunities and liaising with our clients, who leverage the speed of KX technology for everyday data analytics.

You will work closely with global senior sales members across the world, creating opportunities for First Derivatives across all sectors of our business.

You will train with SME’s & Sales Management on our Technology and offerings which will broaden your knowledge on pitching, buying signals and sales strategies.

When joining us as a Business Development Representative, you will embark on an initial 4 week training programme, which will take you through First Derivatives’ wide range of services spanning financial consulting and KX technology.

Following this you will join a team responsible for growing business across our target markets worldwide. Your role could range from assisting in the expansion of our US financial consulting services, to finding new KX sales opportunities within the Asian manufacturing market.

No two days are the same and you could be responsible for the next big deal for FD!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Win Business for KX
  • Prospect new clients by reaching out via outbound sales calls, emails & LinkedIn, introducing KX and our relevant services to key decision-makers
  • Liaise with senior management to share knowledge and market intelligence to help drive the overall company strategy
  • Criteria :

  • A-Levels Minimum BCC / BTEC equivalent
  • BS / BA degree or equivalent
  • A genuine interest in technology, financial products & services, manufacturing, automotive, telco and utilities
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a proactive, business-driven approach.
  • Flexible to work various shifts : Asia (7am-4pm) Europe (9am-6pm) US (11am-8pm)
  • Ideally 1+ year experience in a customer facing or sales role
