POSITION SENIOR DIRECTOR, Data & Analytics (Forensics)

LOCATION London

SALARY - £140,000.00-to-£190,000.00 + bonus + substantial benefits

Overview :

Our clients professional teams work with clients to identify secure and analyse electronic evidence. They regularly work with clients on financial investigations, general commercial litigation, intellectual property disputes and corruption investigations.

This is a new role and so offers the successful candidate an opportunity to develop strategy and build a team. The role is to build (and lead) a data analytics function operating alongside the existing Forensic Technology / Accounting teams.

Responsibilities :

Business development, both internally within the Forensic Services department and other departments within the firm, and externally; direct to clients.

Education of Forensic Services team regarding how data analytics can, and should, be used in their engagements

Development of strategy for the data analytics service offering as a part of Forensic Services

Scoping data analytics proposals and proactively assisting with project initiation

Successful delivery of data analytics work for clients (with scope to recruit juniors to deliver)

Interface between the Forensic Services team and the centralised data analytics core team

Effective communication with internal and external clients on a regular basis

Research new tools, techniques and workflows to streamline Data Analytics efforts

Develop potential new service offerings which could be offered direct to clients

Requirements :

Experience in undertaking Data Analytics projects, including scoping, delivery and client liaison

  • Technical ability to deliver Data Analytics services using a range of specialist tools
  • Knowledge of SQL and major accounting / enterprise software systems
  • Experience in assisting with Forensic Services / commercial dispute resolution engagements
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet required deadlines and maintain quality of work product
  • A questioning mind and forensic mind-set, an eye for detail but a pragmatic, commercial approach overall
  • Ability to articulate complex information clearly, in non-technical language
  • Efficient and effective time management and organisation skills
