We are seeking a candidate who will be part of the core delivery team that is currently going through an exciting transformation program.

The Agile Program Lead's primary purpose of supporting and coaching a Delivery Train by steering it to success and navigating the complexity of delivering software in large, cross-functional environments.

The Agile Program Lead helps resolve and escalate impediments, manages risk, helps assure value delivery, and drives program level continuous improvement.

The Agile Program Lead is accountable for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of value through the program.

We are recruiting in either the UK or US for this role.

What responsibilities will you have?

  • Being an Agile Coach for multiple Scrum teams / a Delivery Train. Coaching key stakeholders, engineering leads, and teams, in agile practices and mindset.
  • Running Train-level agile events, including demos and retrospectives.
  • Running Big or Small Room Planning events for multiple Scrum teams / a Delivery Train, working with Product Management and Engineering Leads to prioritize deliverables / features to be considered for the next planning cycle.
  • Ensuring the work breakdown structure is agreed and adhered to in planning principles.

  • Owning delivery communication and co-ordination with key business and product stakeholders, through pre and post quarterly planning cycles.
  • Driving continuous improvement through the delivery train, utilizing feedback and metrics aligned to quality, business value, delivery commitments, predictability.
  • Own improvement plans across the train.

  • Managing delivery impediments and blockers through to resolution through appropriate stakeholders.
  • Resourcing and budget tracking aligned to annual capital planning.
  • Aligning with the central Markets Technology Transformation and driving the Delivery Lead Community of Practice standardization across the wider organization.
  • This is a new role in an evolving team and you will help shape the responsibilities and drive change within the organization to put us in the best place to achieve the benefits of being Agile
  • What skills are we looking for?

  • Excellent written / verbal communication and presentations skills targeting various stakeholders and senior management
  • Proven track record of working with non-agile teams and coaching on Agile Practices
  • Proven track record of Coaching teams through agile practices and new ways of working
  • Proven experience and understanding of the software delivery life cycle in a Agile environment
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Experience working with geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups
  • Ability to develop strong partnerships across lines of business to achieve goals
  • Proven ability to achieve quality results in a high-pressure, rapidly changing environment requiring flexibility / adaptability to changeable directive
  • What will make you stand-out?

  • Accreditations in Agile frameworks - e.g. Scrum Alliance Scrum Master, Scrum Alliance Product Owner.
  • Extensive experience acting as a Product Owner across multiple and different product lifecycles
  • Business domain knowledge : in fixed income and derivative products, and an understanding of electronic markets
