Are you an experienced Support Worker or Care Assistant, looking for a new challenge?
Or do you have some personal experience of supporting or enabling someone, with a great understanding of enablement?
We have a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, independent provider of social care, who will support, mentor and train you to learn and develop in your role.
We are seeking people with a relevant background either in a paid role, or personal experience, who are looking to develop within social care, for an exciting opportunity within supported accommodation, supporting people with a range of needs.
The role will involve supporting people who have learning disabilities, autism, non-verbal communication and behaviours that challenge, to thrive within their home and community and to participate in a wide range of activities.
The role will involve working to a shift rota, so you will need to be able to work flexibly which will include some unsociable hours including some earlies, lates, some sleep ins and some weekend working.
Typical shift patterns : 7 / 8am-2pm, 2pm-9pm, 8 : 45pm-7 : 15am and sleep ins 9pm-6 : 30am although these are subject to change).
Due to the rural location, you will also need to be a driver with access to a vehicle.
Full training will be provided, and you will also be supported in your new role by your local team from day one.
