My client a local authority based in South Essex is looking for an ERDF Programme Manager to join their team. This is a full time, fixed term contract for at least a year and the successful candidate will need a relevant degree level qualification, extensive experience dealing with European Regional Development Funding and extensive experience in a construction / development based programme management role.
The main purpose of the role is to lead the ERDF Programme Management Team to successfully complete the South East Business Boost ERDF project.
The main responsibilities of this role will include; Lead and Manage the SEBB Programme Team (ERDF Operations Coordinator, ERDF Grants Officers x 3, ERDF Data Officer, ERDF Administrator).
Maintain systems for recording : beneficiary information, procurement records and expenditure / financial data - as the Accountable Body for the project and across multiple partners throughout the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) region.
Review / submit ERDF grant claims covering all aspects of project performance information, including finance, outputs, milestones, etc.
Manage all aspects of liaising with the Managing Authority (funder), The Department for Communities & Local Government. Managing effective reporting to partners and diplomatic partnership management.
Chair and manage SEBB Steering Group meetings. Ensure project-wide adherence to EU / EC project delivery guidance (including procurement & delivery).
Carrying out audit 'spot-checks' on partner activities and record keeping, in-line with EU and project guidelines. Oversee and manage all aspects of the SEBB Growth Grant Programme.
