There is an opportunity for an Finance Assistant in Colchester to work with an established organisation on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The role will involve a range of accounting tasks, mainly being responsible for the supplier payments and all aspects of Sales Ledger, Petty cash and payroll.

Key duties :

  • Maintaining both the Purchase and Sales ledgers
  • Update weekly payments schedule
  • Weekly BACs runs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • CIS payments
  • Debtors - update ledgers / credit control
  • Qualifications and experience :

  • Qualified to AAT standard or relevant experience
  • The person :

  • Confident communicator
  • Flexible
  • Good time management
  • This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for a long term opportunity. Excellent salary, free parking and 37.5 hours a week.
