The Business Development Manager will take the lead in growing the company’s CoreSync POE smart building solution business in the EMEA market.
The candidate will be instrumental in developing and reviewing the regions Go to market plan and will identify, engage, and manage the ongoing relationships with customers, channel partners and CoreSync Alliance members.
The BDM will carry a Sales Revenue and GM number that will be reviewed annually to set and agree growth targets.
The candidate must be able to work in a team environment across the breadth of the functional business areas and across multiple time zones.
Travel both locally and internationally will be a requirement with business trips taking up to 50% of workdays. Responsible for developing and growing our market for CoreSync products in the EMEA region the BDM will engage in weekly reviews with manager and other stakeholders to review progress and discuss issues but will be largely self-managing.
What You Will Do In Your Role
Through collaboration with the Strategic development team, participate in the development, ongoing review and deployment of a go to market plan for the CoreSync solution in the EMEA region.
Engage with target customers / channel partners, manage ongoing business relationships and grow the sales pipeline.
Onboard target Lighting and Technology partners to the CoreSync alliance and maintain ongoing strategic and tactical relationships.
In conjunction with CES Marketing, develop an ongoing marketing plan that delivers the CoreSync value proposition to target decision makers / influencers in the region.
Participate in Trade Shows and seminars as a subject matter expert and spokesperson.
Provide customers with 1st line support on all technical enquires and during project proposal / deployment.
Provide customers with quotations and bids using company approved tools and resources.
Track projects through Salesforce.com and keep details current to support monthly management reporting requirements.
Grow sales revenues and achieve budgeted sales revenue and GM targets.
Understand, support and contribute to the Company’s MBM guiding principles, mental models and culture.
The Experience You Will Bring
BS in Business and or network engineering related field.
5 years plus experience in the Demonstrated success in capturing business in the Smart Building, IOT and / or LED Lighting industry.
Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to convey information to a diverse cultural audience, clearly and concisely.
Ability to sell end to end solutions and manage complex bid processes for large projects.
Strong interpersonal and networking skills.
Ability to contribute to strategy development and understand / implement tactical plans in support of it.
What Will Put You Ahead
BS in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering or Communications engineering.
Ability to be a spokesperson on POE and IOT technology and present to both potential clients and at exhibitions / Webinars.
