Brit Drive is the Trade Plate division of Brit European and is currently recruiting for Class 2 HGV drivers for the UK trade plate market.

To be eligible for these positions you must be a minimum of 21 years old and have at least 2 years’ experience preferably as a Trade Plate Driver but this is not essential as full training will be given.

You must have no more than 6 points on your driving licence and you must not have any endorsements for drink driving, dangerous driving or any insurance related convictions.

The successful applicants must reliable, self motivated, flexible in order to stay away from home on nights out and have good customer service skills.

You must hold a full UK Driving Licence and have a good knowledge of UK locations (towns / motorways and roads). The work involves the collection and delivery of new and used commercial vehicles and vans from and to various locations throughout the UK (collections are mainly from Ports) You will also be required to complete vehicle inspection reports at the collection point utilising a hand held electronic PDA (full training will be given on the use of this device).
