Sous Chef for an all fresh Gastro Pub in Kent
Thriving Gastro Pub looking for a Sous Chef to join their team working straight shifts with Sunday and Monday off every week.
T he establishment caters for up to 60 covers per day, working in a team of 3 chefs kitchen porters, you will be using all fresh produce creating quality dishes up to 2 rosette standard.
Duties of the Job :
Assist the Head Chef with the day to day running of the kitchen and to take over in Head Chef's absence.
Work across all sections of the kitchen, providing support and guidance where needed.
Adopt and maintain the strict food safety and hygiene protocols.
Ensure consistent quality through a hands on approach to prep and service.
Assist with the training and development of the junior members of the team.
What we need from you :
Sous Chef experience is preferred, however a strong Junior Sous may be considered.
Must be from a 2 rosette background or equiavelent.
Must be driven to succeed as a chef and work with the Head Chef to develop the business.
Have excellent time keeping, personal and man management skills.
Salary from £25,000 Tips, please note there is no live in accommodation.
