Role overview

Due to the award of a new contract for NG Bailey IT Services, we are currently recruiting a Secure Engineer in support of Service Delivery for IUS / DFTS and customer projects in Germany.

The Secure Engineer will be responsible in ensuring all calls allocated to them are delivered within NG Bailey’s clients Service Level Agreements (SLA).

The Secure Engineer will respond to all calls pertaining to faults, provisions and Business As Usual (BAU) project works in support of Service Delivery for IUS / DFTS and customer projects

This role is working on Military bases, therefore a minimum of SC clearance is required and prepared to obtain DV Clearance if not already held.

This role is based in Germany, therefore initial transportation costs and removals will be provided from the UK if required.

You will :

  • Health & Safety - Demonstrate appropriate Health and Safety leadership to ensure that the safety first and foremost message is visible and alive throughout any activities carried out.
  • Business Processes - Ensure adherence to all NG Bailey’s policies, processes and procedures
  • Compliance - Ensure under direction, all works comply with NG Bailey IT Services Company standards and to meet and exceed client expectations, as well as the requirements to meet / exceed international standards and manufacturers installation guideline systems.
  • Budgeting - To ensure material control and maintain records of deliveries and project stock.
  • Weekly Reviews - To ensure provision of timely and accurate internal and customer project reporting (timesheets, mileage returns, daily reports, completion certificates)
  • Project Delivery - To monitor the quality and productivity against programme and maintain daily site records and reports.
  • Relationships with Customers - Ensure that positive relationships are maintained with the customer through efficient delivery of projects with a view to optimising future opportunities and profitability.
  • Technical - Ensuring design and installation meets internal and client specifications and statutory requirements
  • You will have :

  • Evident experience of the installation of Communication Systems as per JSP604 and JSP440
  • Fully conversant with the setup and operation of CCP’s, EVTC and Microwave links
  • The ability to locate and rectify faults on WAN, LAN and CSS Voice systems.
  • Ability to work from construction drawings to JSP604 standards
  • Demonstrate the ability to interface with customers with a professional and informative approach
  • 1st and 2nd Line Engineering Maintenance and Support
  • Security Clearance - DV
  • Driving Licence
  • Adherence and compliance to JSP490
