About the role :
The Ranger teams across the region will be the first point of contact for our four million annual visitors, delivering high quality conservation, access, recreation and education.
Key responsibilities include
Site maintenance :
Practical grounds maintenance and conservation management using power tools
Undertake and record H&S maintenance records for site assets including, buildings, site furniture, path networks, machinery, equipment, COSHH assessments and tree safety to meet statutory and company compliance.
Customer Service :
Ability to demonstrate first class customer service at all times.
Support and manage on site incidents to protect people and the environment.
Deliver strong day-to-day liaison with our on-site tenants, including fishing, watersports, cycling, retail and catering.
Marshalling the car park and assisting the public with payment machines
Seek positive engagement with customers on site and ensure site rules and regulations are being adhered to.
About you : Essential
Essential
Full UK driving license
Excellent communication and customer focus skills
Ability to assist with diverse queries from members of the public
Desirable
Experience in countryside, conservation and visitor management; this can include volunteer work and practical grounds maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of formal recreation activities, e.g. watersports, fishing, cycling, walking, horseriding
Practical qualifications in use of chainsaws, brush cutters, pesticides, wood chippers, trailer towing, boat handling, tractor and JCB driving and first aid.

We are offering a 2 month contract starting ASAP !
Pay Rate £10.24 per hour
Hours Full or part time but must include weekend working (two in four)
