Ideally you will be CIMA or ACCA qualified with detailed knowledge of Financial and Management Accounting with at least 5 / 10 years experiencePosition OverviewYou will provide a comprehensive accounting service for the Group and all Development Companies, reporting directly to the Finance DirectorMain Responsibilities" Responsible for providing timely and accurate management and financial information, including monthly management accounts" Prepares Full Year Statutory Accounts packs.
Supporting the Finance Director with preparation of reports and annual budgets" Reviewing monthly detailed forecasts, including explanations of variances and comparisons to previous forecasts and budget.
Reviewing overhead expenditure for cost control purposes, together with preparation of monthly report to explain variances between forecasts and budget.
Dealing with monthly management accounts, including explanations of variances and comparisons between forecasts and budget.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly funding requests with supporting information for all live developments" Preparation of ad hoc management reports .
Dealing with all purchase ledger, general ledger & banking input, ensuring timely processing & integrity of ledgers." Responsible for ensuring monthly accounts timetables are set and adhered to, to ensure timely production of financial information to all relevant stakeholders, within the overall timetable set by the Group Finance Director.
Responsible for maintaining the Financial Accounting Ledgers of each Company, ensuring that all appropriate reconciliations are prepared and reviewed and that the integrity of the ledger is maintained.
Credit control responsibilities.Working with the Group Finance Director, to ensure that the Group and each operating subsidiary Company adhere to current best accounting practices and current legislation.
Develops new / improved reporting systems to provide managers with more appropriate information.Represents the group when dealing with Joint Venture partners and other funding providers.
Undertakes other ad hoc duties as required by Group Finance Director, and Company Directors.Requirements" Advanced Excel skills to include spreadsheets, V-
Lookups and Pivot Tables."
