We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual who can join us as Professor in Accounting and Finance and make a significant contribution to the implementation of our research, leadership, and teaching and learning strategy in Accounting, Finance and Economics (AFE).
You will need to have a PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and will be joining the AFE Research Centre within the School of Management.
It is essential that you have a strong interest and proven track record in pedagogy innovation and an ability to lead new pedagogy developments in the field of Accounting and Finance and cascade these developments across the School.
You will also need to have strong links with relevant professional bodies, industry and business links in the field.
You will be expected to contribute to the Research Centre's continuing success through quality research output, delivering an excellent teaching and learning experience to students and taking on leadership roles during the tenure of your employment.
Along with your undergraduate and / or postgraduate teaching, you will need to maintain a good research track record with publications in 3 / 4* refereed journals and grant capture activity to support the School of Management's reputation and impact of Making Knowledge Work.
You will also be expected to contribute to the digital-distance learning degree programmes at the School of Management.
