Purpose of Role :
To develop and deliver a co-ordinated set of complementary roadmaps for GroupM Products & Services. This will include detailed roadmaps and planning for our INCA (Influencer Marketing), Xaxis, Commerce and wider GroupM services.
You will have 3 - 4 Director level reports who in turn have varying team sizes. Those teams are built of experience product managers who have an established record of accomplishment of delivering products and services across GroupM.
About the role :
This is a key role within the GroupM Products & Services squad that will directly report into the Managing Partner for Products & Partnerships.
Leading 3 - 4 agile teams this role must manage and apply our resources efficiently to ensure we deliver our vision to provide our agencies and businesses with a platform for growth and success.
The Product team needs to work with leaders and innovators from across our wider group to ensure our products and services are continually refreshed and meet the demands of our clients and agencies.
The product team will also be delivering major new initiatives in market and liaising with various WPP and GroupM entities to ensure their success.

You will own the annual process of roadmap evaluation and development with quarterly reviews. The roadmap is not set in stone and can be adjusted as required throughout the year, however each year a new high-level plan is pulled together in conjunction with our agencies.
You will be responsible for pulling together and combing roadmaps for GroupM core initiatives, Xaxis, INCA and Commerce offering, among others.
You will be able to present a coherent product strategy and roadmap that shows how our offerings complement each other and serve to improve our client offering.
You will be a trusted source of expertise for our business that acts as an escalation point on product or service performance.
You will have considerable influence and decision-making authority with regards how budgets and resources should be deployed to ensure we hit product growth targets.
You will constantly evaluate individual product strategies taking into consideration partner tech developments or wider changes in the industry.
You will regularly present and articulate a clear product strategy that has the support and "buy in" from all key business stakeholders.
Product Innovation & Development
Responsibility for managing and delivering product roadmaps for Xaxis UK, INCA, Commerce and GroupM centrally delivered platforms.
Work closely with Google to ensure we are developing our A / V products in a manner that takes full advantage of beta features coming to the DV360 platform.
Ensure we are enhancing our A / V offering beyond "vanilla" industry offerings though investment in media and other tech and data providers.
Responsible for delivering a robust and agile roadmap for INCA. Taking a test and learn, entrepreneurial / start-up mentality to this fast growing and exciting brand.
Work with our Business Transformation Squad to refresh key foundational systems, tools, and processes to ensure that we are building a platform for growth and success in our agencies.
Take ownership for the successful delivery of new planning and execution platforms into our business, this will require integrations into existing systems and roll-out plans to be designed and implemented for all agencies.
Ensure we have a robust and productive working partnership with our investment squad, and we are leveraging our market position to the full via our products and services and to the benefit of our clients.
Commercial Growth and Success
Drive a high-performance culture with a rigorous continual evaluation of our products and services.
Have a clear understanding of our products and services financial performance, advise the business with regards resource investment.
Working with our Partnerships team periodically benchmark our products and services against competing in market offerings.
Prepare business cases to support investment decisions on product growth, equally provide rationale and data to remove resources from declining propositions.
Prepare and deliver regular reports and analysis to constantly drive incremental performance gains.
Troubleshoot and pro-actively manage business challenges.
You will be responsible for early-stage adoption of new platforms and services that are developed by wider WPP and GroupM colleagues e.
g., WPP Open DCO (Dynamic Creative Optimisation), a new machine learning based campaign planning and execution system among others.
Your will ensure these offerings integrate into local UK systems and working practises.
You will work to transition our current suite of products to ensure they integrate with our offshore capabilities.
You will liaise with key business stakeholders to ensure the successful widespread adoption of such initiatives.
You will actively seek out opportunities for closer and improved working integrations from across the WPP network.
This role reports to the Managing Partner, Product and Partnerships GroupM UK Ltd. The role will have 3 -4 Director level direct reports depending on the Lifecyle of various initiatives.

Specialist digital media knowledge, experience working with DSP's, Adservers and a wider array of Adtech / Martech.

Role requirements :
Highly knowledgeable and experienced in digital media products and services. Substantial industry experience with a proven commercial record of delivering results.
Demonstrable record of developing and delivering product roadmaps that have had a significant commercial impact.
Proven experience working within and leading teams in an agile manner.
Hands on experience delivering or servicing digital media campaigns.
Comfortable with handling (up to) C-level clients and agency management, as well as colleagues at all levels
