We are looking for a highly motivated EU / UK qualified lawyer who can support our company's product operations. This role can be based in Dublin, London or Berlin.
This will be a unique opportunity to work on ground-breaking legal matters and shape an exciting, dynamic company. Responsibilities : - Coordinating and advising on product legal compliance matters in the EU region and working cross-functionally to provide legal guidance and practical solutions;
Advising product and other teams on the application of a range of laws and regulations, with a focus on copyright related laws;
Monitoring, reviewing and assessing new laws, directives and regulations, and providing timely advice on its implications;
Coordinate with government relations, product, trust and safety, and other cross-functional teams on external communications, policy development and product launches;
and - Collaborate with legal team members to improve processes, provide training, and ensure business needs are met.Qualifications- 4+ years PQE at top law firm or in-house team in advising clients or internal business partners on copyright matters impacting social media platforms or other online services and / or digital products;
Deep understanding of media, personality rights, and copyright law in the EU and UK;- Experience managing and resolving copyright disputes;
Passion for and understanding of technology;- Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to get the job done;
Ability to assess legal, practical and business risks in a fast-paced environment and provide sound advice under tight deadlines;
