The Role

This role is to join the highly successful high growth Infrastructure, Government and Healthcare (IGH) Consulting team at KPMG as a Senior Manager.

They will act as a trusted advisor to our C-level clients and manage engagements predominantly with Government and Healthcare clients.

Typical engagements include development of digital and technology strategies, defining operating models, supporting options appraisals for solutions and designing transformation strategies.

Alongside delivery, they will support growth of the business by working closely in multi-disciplinary teams to deliver our Go-to-Market Strategy and manage client relationships.


Developing lasting client relationships and actively building a network and range of experiences to help address client needs across Infrastructure, Government and Health

Lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver technology strategy engagements for large-scale, complex transformations within an agile deliver environment

Act as a trusted advisor to our clients on technology; including a strong appreciation of emerging market trends and their applicability to our clients

Contribute to thought leadership and KPMG’s presence in the market to grow our business

Lead sales pursuits for new technology strategy and digital transformation opportunities to grow our business; including scoping, estimating, pricing, proposal development and client negotiation

Coaching and developing team members through sharing of experiences and knowledge, as well as managing the performance and develop of other team members

Build relationships across KPMG’s capabilities and our global member firms to bring innovation to our clients in Infrastructure, Government and Health

Operate within KPMG’s values.

The Person

Developing digital, data and technology strategies in complex environments

Designing and delivering digital transformation

Technology architecture and solutions evaluation

Experience in modern delivery methodologies

Experience of innovation and emerging technology

Ability to build and manage client accounts and relationships

Desirable skills :

Experience working within Digital Healthcare and Healthcare Arms Length Bodies

Experience working within Government Digital Service principles

Experience within an advisory capacity to C-level clients

Experience selling in to Government and Healthcare clients


Ideally degree level qualified, but not essential for the right person with the right experience

Additional Information

  • The role can be based in anyone of our major offices in the UK (Birmingham, London, Leeds, Manchester, Bristol, Edinburgh / Glasgow) and will include travel;
  • candidates must have a willingness to travel frequently, both domestically and internationally on occasions, with the potential to be away from home for set periods of time.
