The Future Fashion Factory creative R&D; partnership is a £5.4 million programme of ambitious research and development funded through the Government’s Industrial Strategy Challenge fund via the Creative Industries Cluster Programme (CICP) that seeks to create the world’s first designer-
led, digitally enabled creative design and technical innovation platform for high value, luxury goods. You will work closely with the Director, Co-
Director, Future Fashion Factory Programme Manager and Communications and Digital Engagement Officer to assist with the effective delivery of the Future Fashion Factory’s project administration as well as providing secretarial support.
You will have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with different stakeholders along with proven administration experience including planning and organising busy events.
You will develop and maintain effective administration processes to support project activities and assist with the promotion and organisation of a variety of events and workshops, where you will be required to liaise with internal staff, local industry and external partners and also represent the University of Leeds at engagement events which will require travel within the Yorkshire Region (circa 20 miles) during your working hours, accompanied by a member of the project team.
You will have experience of working in an office environment in an administrative role. With excellent IT skills and the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, you will also have experience of servicing meetings including preparation of agendas and taking minutes.
