We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Production Manager to join our leadership team based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Essex.

As the Senior Production Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the operations team at Linford 2 plant. Working as part of the Site Leadership team, you will be critical in leading and delivering performance, setting the strategy for the operation and driving the team to achieve optimal levels of performance.
This role reports to the Sinior Site Manager and will oversee and manage approx. 70 operational staff with 4 direct reports.
With a flexible and hands-on approach, you will ensure effective management is in place to achieve a safe working environment, profit and cash targets, meeting corporate and legal requirements and driving innovation and improvements where possible.
Plant operations are 365 days, 24 / 7 and the role requires flexibility to ensure effective running of the plant. This may involve flexing your hours to be on call on occasions when required
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate will posess previous experience working as a Senior Production Manager or Production Manager gained within a fast-paced, heavy manufacturing environment with experience in managing a blue-collar workforce, effective engagement with trade unions, successful management and control of budgets and demonstrable ability of leading and improving service delivery operations.
Key to your success will be your exceptional communication skills. As an influential and persuasive leader you will have a successful track record in managing, developing, motivating and inspiring both direct reports and people in your wider organisation to cultivate strong, engaged and competent teams.
