As an established leader, the Strategic Sales Director's role is to develop some of the most strategic partnerships in Northern Europe.

You will manage a team of Strategic and Named Account Executives covering industry markets including, Retail / CPG, Manufacturing and Energy.

You will develop the existing team focused on new business and existing business expansion, and scale the team through new hires building a culture of collaboration and performance.

You will report to the Senior Strategic Sales Director, UKI & Benelux.

The impact you will have :

  • You will use your business network to develop a pipeline and hire qualified candidates to grow the team
  • You will establish a regional growth and investment plan in the first 90 days
  • You will sponsor and develop trust-based relationships with customers and partners to ensure long-term success in the region
  • You will ensure forecast accuracy and develop a predictable, high-growth business
  • You will coach your team to lead with value-based selling and align to our customers outcomes
  • You will develop an understanding of technical product details and roadmap to build trust with key stakeholders
  • What we look for :

  • Experience managing teams responsible for (and selling to) strategic global accounts
  • Experience in the Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS sales industry
  • Proof of consistently exceeding sales quotas in high-growth Enterprise software companies
  • You will have experience hiring candidates and expanding sales teams
  • You will have experience implementing strategies for both usage and commit based revenue models
  • You will have experience developing the partners ecosystem as Executive Sponsor to grow strategic accounts
  • You will have experience of value selling and structured methodologies e.g. MEDDPICC, Command of the Message and Challenger Sales
  • You will show experience of accurate forecasting to sales management
  • You have the desire and passion for building a collaborative, performant team culture
