What's your new role about?

The Head of Indirect Procurement at DAZN Group has global responsibility for the strategy for all indirect sourcing related activity Reporting into the Global Head of Procurement, this role needs someone who can react, grow and evolve as quickly as we do.

You need to have the right mindset to focus on what is important but being equally mindful that we are a business that moves quickly, and you need to be agile with it.

You will be responsible for the analysis of all indirect spend for DAZN on a global scale including all operational services and will have direct responsibility for a Corporate Services Category Manager.

You will need exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage a wide range of projects and tendering processes in a fast-paced environment.

You will have a great track record in indirect Procurement with an understanding of who the main players are across HR, Marketing and other corporate services providers.

You’ll need to quickly understand which suppliers are critical to DAZN in order to maximise the potential of those partnerships and provide guidance to other members of the team and the wider business.

You will work side by side with your other colleagues in Procurement who are aligned to other spend categories and business requirements to ensure that we are communication and maintaining a joined-up approach to requirements supporting the delivery of an outstanding Procurement function at DAZN.

HERE’S A BREAKDOWN OF WHAT YOU’LL DO (NOT ALL OF IT, JUST THE MOST IMPORTANT STUFF)

  • Set a clear strategy, contracting and negotiation roadmap across all areas of Indirect Procurement on a global basis
  • Monthly preparation of accurate business cases for the Efficiency Board on high spend requirements supported by key business strategies and financial analysis
  • Monthly spend reporting and tracking to identify key suppliers and trends
  • Management and guidance of your team; forecasting savings, tracking projects and balancing workloads
  • Ability to collaborate effectively every day with colleagues in Finance, Legal, InfoSec, Technology and Product Leaders
  • Know your key suppliers and the services they provide with a clear understanding of which of them are critical to DAZN’s journey to become the world’s most effective broadcaster
  • DO YOU HAVE THESE ESSENTIALS?

  • Experience in indirect spend management and commercial contract negotiations
  • Ability to work quickly, think on your feet but not cut corners
  • Instigate, build and maintain appropriate internal and external relationships with stakeholders and supply partners
  • Ability to understand and interpret spend and highlight inefficiencies to influence change programmes and make direct savings
  • A clear understanding of commercial models and the structure of contracts
  • NOT ESSENTIAL BUT GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE

  • Experience in a broadcasting organisation would be helpful but is not essential
