Memory is looking for an exceptional Head of PR & Comms (full time role) working either remotely within core European working hours or from our offices in Oslo, Norway (HQ).

We’re looking for an inspiring and high energy Head of PR and Comms to help tell this story, to build awareness that there is a better way to work and of Memory globally.

Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this is our first specialist PR & Comms hire. You will be excited by the opportunity to come in, define and execute your strategy and make a huge impact on Memory’s business by increasing our audience.

You will be able to craft engaging and impactful stories and get these into relevant media (sector-specific and tier 1), influencers and partners.

International by default, you will be comfortable operating across key English speaking markets around the world. In addition, you will relish the opportunity to promote Memory as a great company to work for, where we live by the promises of a better future for work that our solutions deliver.


Define and execute a bold communications strategy for Memory - including public relations, analyst relations, awards, influencer program, social media and internal comms - to set our narrative, grow awareness, build our positioning and tell our story into key audiences

Create and manage a communications roadmap and editorial calendar mapping to business objectives, product and business announcements and events

Develop deep relationships with business, sector, tech & investor journalists, influencers and bloggers to secure relevant and regular coverage.

In addition, hire and manage agencies or freelancers as appropriate

Define and build the communications operating model, including processes, tools and KPIs to support and measure the impact of your strategy.

Create alignment with digital marketing and content teams to maximise digital opportunities and support distribution strategies.

Own Memory’s social media and analyst relations strategy. In addition, own the strategy, process and execution of Memory’s crisis communications

Secure keynote speaking positions at relevant conferences, events and webinars as appropriate

Partner with the leadership team and People team to support internal communications to create, promote and celebrate Memory as a great place to work.


Minimum 5 years of hands-on PR and comms experience in B2B (SMB) SaaS, with either an in-house, media or agency background - ideally in a fast growth, early stage business

Demonstrable success in setting and delivering a breakthrough PR and Comms strategy, rapidly growing awareness, reputation and trust to support commercial outcomes

Extensive experience in key English-speaking territories, including the US

Expert at leveraging social and digital platforms for communications goals

A self-starter able to make an impact whilst working remotely (as appropriate) within a global team

Bold thinking with strong business acumen, able to identify opportunities and deliver on them

Excellent English language including written, public speaking and influencing skills


Work from our Oslo HQ, or remotely from anywhere in Europe (as long as you’re available 9AM 3PM Oslo time)
