Nottinghamshire YMCA are looking for a HR Administrator to support with day to day administration in the HR department, including emails, maintaining the online HR Information System, dealing with face to face, email and telephone enquiries, compiling statistics, photocopying, scanning, filing, ordering goods and arranging meetings.
You will work with members of the HR department, as well as other departments such as Finance, to provide administration support for all aspects of HR across Nottinghamshire YMCA, including monitoring current employee information, recruitment and helping to organise the training and development for staff.
The successful candidate will have good communication skills and excellent attention to detail. They must be able to work alone using their own initiative and as part of a team.
They will be required to write letters and reports, as well as use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), so good literacy, numeracy and IT skills is essential.
This role will involve handling sensitive and confidential information so experience of working in an office and handling sensitive information is desirable but not essential.
Training on handling confidential information and GDPR will be provided. In addition, candidates will need to undergo a satisfactory enhanced DBS check (funded by YMCA).

Participants will attend all appropriate in-house training such as Data Protection, Fire Safety, Safeguarding VA (Vulnerable Adults) and CYP (Children and Young People) and more.
The successful candidate will receive one to one mentoring from the Manager which will be continuous throughout the placement.
YMCA will provide employability support to candidates, including CV and application form writing, interview techniques,
working as part of a team and basic employability skills such as presentation and time management.
