Sales Representative / External Sales Executive

We are looking to recruit an experienced Sales person for a well established electrical wholesaler with a great reputation within the industry.

The ideal candidate must have previous experience in the electrical wholesale industry to be able to deal effectively with customers face to face and over the telephone and be able to drive.

The role :

Increase the turnover and profit of the branch through the development of both existing and new business. This involves calling on regular spending accounts, re-contacting and activating dormant accounts and cold calling potential new customers.

  • Deliver excellent personal service either face to face or on the telephone and build and maintain successful partnerships with customers, colleagues and suppliers to focus on the achievement of long term customer loyalty.
  • Use various sales and marketing techniques to open and develop new accounts as well as maintaining existing customers.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of the business through active participation in activities such as local promotions.
