We have a fantastic opportunity for a brilliant Supported Living Worker like you to join our fab and supportive team. Our CQC registered service provides support to our brilliant customers who have ongoing Mental Health Support needs within an accommodation support setting.
They live in a comfortable 8-bedroom house, which provides a step down from a clinical environment, before returning to independent living after completing our 12-week rehabilitation programme
You’ll support our customers to live their day to day lives as independently as possible. The team will tell you that no two days are ever the same because everything we do is person centred around our customers.

As our Waking Nights Supported Living Worker, you’ll be a lone worker. You’ll offer our customers a first point of call when needed.
During your shift you’ll support with personal care (like bathing and issuing medication). You’ll also make sure all records are up to date, auditing customer files, safeguarding the building and carrying out some light cleaning duties.
Without these people I don’t know where I would be!

Although you’ll work nights, we do get together regularly in the day time for training and team meetings. You’ll be part of our wider team who are super passionate about supporting customers to reach their goals and celebrating their achievements.
To us were not just a team we’re a work family’. Our manager is Our manager is Chris, who is new to Home Group, but has worked in Housing care & support services for 30 years!
There are 12 of us in the team and we don’t just love to support our customers, we’re there for each other too!
We provide 24-hour support to our customers each day and every day. In this role you’ll work during the twilight hours doing waking nights.
This includes working from 21 : 00 to 07 : 25, 3 nights in week 1, and 4 nights in week 2. We need you to be flexible to meet the needs of our customers, but we aim to give you the time you need to spend time doing the things that matter to you!
Looking for a more flexible working pattern? You can also join us on a flexible basis by being part of our bank. You can work hours that fit around your current commitments or even pick up some additional shifts to your main role to earn some extra cash and get paid on a weekly basis.

To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, it's really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)
To make sure our customers are well supported, it’s important that you have worked in a Registered Care / Supported Housing environment before.
You have a great understanding of professional boundaries, responsibility for safeguarding, risk assessment, confidentiality and have experience in case management.

When you join, you’ll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service. The great news is that we will pay for that to be done if you don’t have a transferrable one.
In line with current Government legislation for CQC Registered Care Homes you must be fully COVID-19 vaccinated to work in this service, unless you are exempt.
