We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Administrator to support the business and operations aspects of CITIID.

The role holder will also act as Deputy Business and Operations Manager of the Department of Medicine as a whole.

The Senior Administrator is a key strategic and operational leadership post, responsible for oversight of the day-to-day financial and operational management of the Cambridge Institute of Therapeutic Immunology and Infectious Disease (CITIID), including its governance, communications, staffing, equipment, health and safety and other regulatory compliance.

You will manage the interface between CITIID and the Department to support the delivery of the strategic aims of all parties.

You will work in close collaboration with the Director of CITIID, Department Business and Operations Manager, Principal Investigators and the Department Professional Services Team.

In addition, you will deputise for the Department of Medicine Business and Operations Manager during periods of absence.

You will be required to keep abreast of wider business and operational issues across the Department, delivering advice and guidance on facilities, finance, human resource and general administrative issues.

You will also directly line manage the HLRI building services team, taking a particular interest in Health and Safety.

You will hold a degree or recognised industry qualification, along with significant administration and previous line management experience.

You will also have detailed knowledge of finance and HR procedures, experience of implementing communication strategies and excellent interpersonal skills.

Previous experience of a higher education environment would be an advantage.

Fixed-term : The funds for this post are available for 3 years in the first instance.
