Team Leader- Maternity Cover role

You will be leading a team to support people to promote independence in accessing the local community, engaging in work, learning to cook and keep their own home neat, clean and tidy, while also supporting people to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met in a person centred way, to name but a few!

Main skills needed :

  • You have been a good Support Worker with experience of supporting with challenging behaviour and are looking for your next challenge!!
  • Ability to effectively lead and supervise staff teams is a must.
  • Be able to make quick decisions and support services as part of an On Call system.
  • Ability to juggle responsibilities :
  • Completing paperwork and reports according to deadlines
  • To prioritise work load with support needs of the people we support
  • To step in and cover shifts as part of your working week / rota
  • At least 2 years’ experience of working in a support worker role in a care setting
  • 1-2 years’ experience of challenging behaviours
  • Be excellent at communicating with the people we support, staff teams and management alike.
  • Have a positive, upbeat and flexible attitude.

    Salary : £22,500 per annum

    Shift times : 7.30- 3pm / 2.30- 10 pm
