About The Opportunity
The Senior Account Executive, Business Development will be responsible for delivering against revenue targets for an assigned portfolio whilst supporting transaction management of their team’s assigned book of business.
They will help support the Emerging Account team to drive the overall strategy for the accounts, whilst ensuring that all requirements no matter the size are being met globally.
This position will report to the Global Head of Financial Service Sales who oversees an assigned book of business.
As a successful Senior Account Executive, Emerging Accounts you will be expected to :
Fully own your book of business and be responsible for the growth, validity and retention of your portfolio
Support the Business Development strategy to the needs of your book of business, uncover new opportunities and scale accounts
Coordinate with market sales teams on requirements when needed
Work closely with the Enterprise and Emerging Accounts to construct pipeline strategy, price proposals and underwrite net new deals in the assigned book of business
Build relationships and provide expert consultation to internal and external senior executives to establish the team as a trusted partner
Partner with your Sales Manager, Account Directors and Customer Success Managers to support member relationships
Align with Leasing to maintain a view on the available inventory in select markets and to create selling strategies to generate demand and incentivise closing
Utilize Salesforce to properly track and report Sales progress
3+ years of experience in advanced B2B sales and / or transactions, preferably commercial real estate
2+ years in customer-facing capacity (e.g. AM, CSM, Relationship Manager)
Willingness to travel to interface with members
Proven track record of hitting and overachieving retention and growth targets
Project management and business operations experience required
Strong team player who can make decisions and execute in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
Knowledge of the commercial real estate market in which you will be deployed is a plus
A thoughtful communicator who can prioritize and project manage short and long term initiatives
Problem solver who can independently translate high-level goals into actionable plans
Inherent analytical skills and strong data extraction and collation ability
Hard-working, self-motivated, dependable, organized and detail-oriented
Strong ability to forecast and manage team pipeline using Salesforce or other CRM
Prior experience in a startup / high-growth company is a plus!
Ability to break down problems into manageable components and think through optimal solutions
Strong internal relationships with REA, Enterprise Services, Legal, Sales / Local leadership is a must
