The role is part of a global power and renewables research team, providing market leading data, analysis, and insight for the global solar, wind, storage, and power markets.
The Senior / Principal Analyst will be responsible for research and analysis in our growing Wind research practice, serving as our subject matter expert on Global Wind O&M and turbine technology.
They will conduct original quantitative and qualitative market research and deliver analysis through written reports, consulting, client inquiries, and speaking engagements.
As a part of Wood Mackenzie’s wind research team, the analysts serve clients who are responsible for the success of their firm’s O&M Strategies, competitive market positioning, O&M cost modelling, technology roadmaps and deployment strategies.
The Analyst corresponds with, presents to, and advises Asset owners, developers, turbine OEMs, Independent Service Providers and wind industry professionals on analysis regarding the changing landscape of the global wind O&M and technology markets.
The Analyst will focus on analysis of wind O&M and technology developments. This research will encompass market assessments, cost benchmarking and forecasting, strategy identification, supply chain support, and competitive analysis.
