Overview :

You’ll be part of a team that develops a low latency platform for Foreign Exchange (FX) trading and automated risk management, one of the most interesting and dynamic businesses within Deutsche Bank.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Leading development of new business functions and non-functional platform improvements for eFX Spot trading platform
  • Interacting with the business and developers in other regions
  • Assisting with turning requirements into functional deliveries
  • Development of market leading FX order management and execution strategies
  • System latency optimization and overall performance improvements
  • Tooling and source code analysis with an aim to produce better and safer code
  • Close collaboration with QA team on automated testing scenarios and test coverage
  • Skills & Qualifications :

  • Excellent C++ engineering skills are essential, preferably on a Linux / Unix platform
  • Proven experience of working within large-scale time series databases - KDB / Q knowledge is beneficial
  • Strong high performance / low latency development experience
  • Solid understanding of trading systems and the specific problems involved, FX background is not mandatory but will be an advantage
  • A track record of delivering complex technical solutions to production use
  • Experience of modern patterns for high quality software including continual build, unit testing, code coverage and memory checking
  • Educated to Bachelor’s Degree level or equivalent qualification / relevant work experience in computer engineering, with preferably with technical degree
