You will lead and manage a team of highly-motivated QA Analysts, QA Engineers and Content Quality Executives, responsible for both technical and non-
technical quality assurance and will require excellent leadership and communication skills, challenging the team to solve critical problems and develop innovative solutions, whilst maintaining a close eye for detail.
Build and provide leadership and strategic direction to the Quality Assurance department.
Design, manage, and maintain all Quality Assurance practices, standards, methodologies, and metrics.
Build and strengthen the capabilities of the Quality Assurance team through the creation and maintenance of QA skills matrices alongside regular team appraisal and 121s
Lead the design and implementation of testing frameworks, test infrastructure, and tools.
Drive continuous improvement through the strengthening of quality tools, skills, infrastructure and process improvements required to achieve business objectives.
Develop resource strategies, allocating staff, tools and specialized support as necessary to ensure that all testing commitments are met.
Experienced people manager with a passion to mentor and guide
Experience across a number of areas relating to Digital Quality, such as site reliability engineering, manual testing, test automation.
Experience at ensuring quality through : ProofreadingUsability testingAccessibility testingFunctionality testingCross-
platform testing, across a range of desktop browsers and mobile devicesChecks against client-provided specifications such as style guides and brand guidelines
An understanding of modern Quality processes and practices within a team’s place within a multi-skilled team including Developers, Product Managers, UX and Design
Experience of working in a dynamic digital team, utilising continuous integration, continuous delivery and DevOps
You have strong knowledge of widely-used software development and delivery methodologies
