We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Senior Audit Manager (Programme and Change Management).

The role of the Senior Audit Manager, Programme and Change Management is to provide independent, objective assurance to management and the risk and audit committees as to whether the framework of risk management, control, and governance processes, as designed and represented by management, is adequate and functioning.

In this role, you will :

  • Assists in the development of the annual audit plan and supports completion of the plan. Play an integral role in annual as well as ongoing audit planning.
  • Lead the preparation of, prepares individual audit plans to ensure that the scope, approach, resourcing and logistics of an audit are appropriately planned.
  • Drive the coordination and collaboration of a consistent delivery of audit work across the Global Businesses and Global Functions.
  • Obtain, analyse and synthesis information for identifying weaknesses and reporting on the adequacy of the internal control environment.
  • Grade the materiality of audit findings, identifies root causes and assesses the overall control risk and management awareness within the audited business.
  • Work with Internal Audit (INA) on how Programme audit needs to help the business change functions improve execution
  • Qualifications

    To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements :

  • Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of Banking products and services knowledge
  • Experience working in relevant environments, i.e. Programme Management and Project
  • Strong Programme Management skills
  • Role relevant qualifications such as ACCA / ACA or similar
  • Availability to undertake the travel required for this role
  • Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. internal audit, external audit is desirable but not essential
  • The base location for this role is Sheffield, Birmingham or Edinburgh (with regular travel to London). You’ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
