An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced, innovative ophthalmic nurse in the Moorfields South Division.
In this post you will work closely with key members of the adnexal team at Moorfields Croydon and St George’s Hospitals
Work autonomously with a defined group of patients and take responsibility for diagnosing their condition, consenting, prescribing, discharging and managing the ocular health of the individual clients meet health their education needs.
Be responsible for the autonomous medical development, implementation and evaluation of care, including medical management of various cases in the nurse-led clinics.
Be able to lead on service improvement strategies by auditing the delivery of the Nurse-led Service and providing a new vision.
Adnexal ophthalmic nursing experience is essential for this post. The post holder will be able to demonstrate organisational and leadership skills and also the ability to communicate with the multidisciplinary teams across Moorfields Croydon and St Georges Hospital.
