Summary :

Researching and analyzing the light vehicle sales markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa, preparing vehicle sales forecast and representing this scope of knowledge to clients in forecasts, custom reports and intelligence briefings.

Office location Frankfurt / M, Essen, Paris, London.

Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Using specialized knowledge of the automotive market in EMEA markets to enrich the IHS Automotive databases.
  • Understanding and applying IHS Automotive forecast methodologies; effectively utilizes IHS tools and data sources to form sound forecast conclusions;
  • effectively utilize IHS databases; Supporting forecast assumptions with clients in a constructive manner.

  • Providing commentary with analysis and rationale supporting vehicle forecasting.
  • Networking with key contacts in the automotive market to validate data and exchange intelligence.
  • Ensuring that all services for which responsibility is held are produced and maintained at the highest quality levels and consistently delivered on a timely basis
  • Providing analytical support to clients both face to face and by phone.
  • Supporting the sales and marketing efforts of the organization.
  • Requirements :

  • A bachelors’ degree, preferably in economics, statistics, business, or marketing.
  • Two to three years of experience in automotive research and forecasting or at least several years of deep knowledge in the automotive industry.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken at a business level. Additional languages of advantage.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office to include expertise in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Above average communication skills to include writing, interpersonal and listening as well as presentation skills gained with large and small audiences.
  • Strong analysis and data base manipulation skills.
