Are you a Team Leader or Relief Team Leader with experience of working in a fast paced food production environment? We are looking for someone who can take responsibility and provide strong support to our Area Managers in High Care.
The Role :
To effectively manage the day to day operations of a defined area of production by the effective and safe organisation of all resources including labour, materials and machinery to ensure customer service levels are delivered.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required :
Experience with managing and motivating a team to achieve targets.
Ability to communicate well with others within your team and across teams.
Monitor morale and take appropriate action to minimise any disruption through the effective handling of communications and welfare issues.
Monitor efficiency, plan attainment and quality standards throughout the day.
Ensure product specifications are adhered to through regular quality control checks
Ensure line / department cleaning is carried out to required standards.
Maintain tidy and complete files of all quality control documentation on the line.
Ensure new product trials are carried out in conjunction with the development department to ensure that practical production methods are identified.
Ensure all staff are sufficiently trained to accommodate changes in working practices.
Awareness of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice).
Food safety level 2 or equivalent food safety qualifications.
