We are currently recruiting for a Balance Sheet Control Analyst to join our team in Chester. We handle monthly reconciliations between Sub-

Ledger and General Ledger, Intra-Month Settlement System to Sub-Ledger integrity controls; investigation and resolution of variances / issues.

You will receive valued training from this team. You will be eased into this role at the correct pace and work towards being able to take care of all the month end activities.

You will also have exposure to partners internally which will help if you are passionate about career development.

What will your responsibilities include?

  • Ensure that all reconciliations are performed to schedule
  • Ensure variances / issues are investigated and resolved in a timely manner
  • Continuous improvements : ability to identify areas during the course of work, for which there are gaps in processes, documentation, quality control and offer suggestions
  • Monitoring progress : Take ownership for all assigned tasks, monitor progress and ensure all planned work is on schedule
  • Reporting issues : Ability to responsibly investigate exceptions in reconciliations, follow-up and intensify issues in order to get them resolved
  • What skills / competencies will you possess?

    Skills :

  • Experience in a dynamic office environment (not necessarily from Financial services)
  • Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivots)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
