Sales Manager - e-learning & training - Surrey / Sussex
Our client a leading provider of e-learning / training tools is seeking a Sales Manager - e-learning & training
to cover it's growing US territory. The Sales Manager - e-learning & training will be based out the UK HQ in West Sussex and be responsible for managing an initial sales team of 2 covering the US market.
To generate sales by proactively prospecting and selling the client's products and services to a defined audience of prospective clients in the assigned territory and by continually striving to develop a productive team of Sales Executives / BDM’s
Key Performance Areas
The key performance areas are :
Management and development of a successful sales team (40%)
Closing new business through prospecting activities (30%)
Nurturing inbound prospects through the sales cycle (20%)
Corporate project activities (10%)
Overall key performance measures :
Manage sales team members sales activities, providing guidance on team members pipeline management
Provide leadership and mentoring to the sales team reporting to you to ensure they succeed and exceed their quota objectives
Independently identify, qualify, progress and close new opportunities with new target clients in target sectors / geographies as agreed with the SVP Global Sales & Business Development
Represent the client in external business relationships with major clients, partners and the public
Work collaboratively with the other territory sales teams to share best practice and maximize growth opportunities across territories with prospective or existing clients.
Work in partnership with the Client Services team to develop existing client relationships to ensure opportunities for growth within the existing client base are maximised
Prepare regular and accurate forecasts of sales opportunities
Meet and exceed quota objectives, as defined by the SVP Global Sales & Business Development
Provide leadership and industry knowledge to customers / prospects, and maintain an appropriate corporate presence in industry-
related public conferences and tradeshows
Work effectively with the marketing function to maximise inbound lead generation and revenue impact from other marketing activities
Contribute to overall Company Sales Strategy through market feedback to Marketing / Development departments
Our client is looking for an experienced Sales Manager with an e-learning / training background, or would also consider Senior sales execs / BDM's in this area looking to take the next step up.
Attractive salary package on offer - OTE up to £70K.
